Threaded valves bodies are easy to connect and offer benefits where space is limited, as the overall diameter of the valve is only marginally larger than the size of the pipe.
How do our Threaded Flow Control Valves work?
Maric Flow Control Rubber is at the heart of the flow control valve, the diameter of the rubber orifice responds automatically to pressure fluctuations, adjusting to maintain a constant flow rate. As pressure differential increases, the orifice diameter reduces to maintain the pre-set flow rate. Likewise, as pressure reduces the orifice automatically opens up to maintain the pre-set, constant flow rate, regardless of pressure variations, As the rubber is constantly flexing within the valve body it is self-cleaning and does not clog.

- Wide range of sizes from 1/4in BSP to 2in BSP and threaded connections (FF, FM, MF, MM, see table below). NPT threads available in FF design only.
- Simple, compact, reliable and characterised by a long life of over 15 years.
- High accuracy of flow control, our standard Precision control rubber types achieve an accuracy level of +/- 10% of the nominal flow rate.
- Valves available in Brass, U-PVC, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Bronze alloys or more unusual materials like Titanium and Inconel.
