Origins
The Quick Stop Tap was originally designed for international aid agencies, for use as part of a multi-outlet tap stand in water distribution systems around disaster relief aid camps.
It has been design to operate on very low pressure systems (gravity fed storage tanks) ~ 0.3bar, however it can work on all water supplies. A pressure reducing valve may be required on mains fed supplies.
The robust design makes it ideal for challenging environments. Tis simplicity makes it easy to use and reduces water wastage as the tap cannot be left running.
