Constant flow for mobile water treatment plant
The need
Our customer had developed a new modular, mobile water treatment plant that was trailer-mounted for quick deployment and maximum mobility.
The water treatments this plant could provide included desalination, clarification, degassing, deionisation and ultrafiltration.
They needed a means of constant and reliable flow control in order to allow maximum efficiency in each of the treatment processes.
The solution
Working to the customer’s flow requirements, Akro supplied PVC wafer valves fitted with Viton control rubbers.
The wafer valves supplied flow rates ranging from 77 m3/h to 3.7 m3/h.
PVC wafer valves fitted with Viton control rubbers were the ideal solution in this case, as the valves can sustain flow performance through a wide range of chemical solutions and contaminants.
